BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The Board of Directors is comprised of dedicated professionals with a diverse set of talents who serve in a voluntary capacity with a hands-on approach to overseeing shelter strategies and policy. Board members are actively involved in fundraising, special events, marketing, facilities management/improvement, fiscal management, oversight of shelter operations and staff, and are committed to the mission of Finding Forever Families for the dogs and cats in the care of the CTSPCA.

President, Board of Directors
Amy joined the Central Texas SPCA Board of Directors in 2015 and has chaired the Marketing & Development Committee as well as many shelter events in including Barktoberfest and our Anniversary Dinner. She has two rescue dogs of her own, Barton and Lucy and resides in Central Austin with her husband, daughter and pups.

Vice-President, Board of Directors
In addition to serving on the CTSPCA Board of Directors where she is the Operations & Communications Chair, Heather Gandy is the Vice President of Content Services for Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Publishing Company (HMH). She is a versatile and passionate leader with exceptional organizational abilities and a broad range of experience in content management, business analysis, website and application requirement development, copyright and permissions, process re-engineering, and operational initiatives that generate revenue and mitigate risk.
Treasurer, Board of Directors
Vicki currently serves as Treasurer for the shelter. She has been a board member since 2017 and has been an active volunteer at the shelter for several years, previously serving as Chair of Operations and overseeing adoption day and special events.
Secretary, Board of Directors
Farnaz joined CTSPCA in 2019 and now serving as Secretary and marketing committee chair. She is passionate about being the voice for voiceless and has rescued dogs and cats throughout her life. She now resides in East Austin with her two rescue dogs, Gita and Chi. Farnaz is a former Global Chief Marketing Officer and is currently an author, consultant, speaker, and a big advocate for human rights, gender and racial equality.
ALISAND ROBINSON (photo coming soon!)
Alisand has been an active volunteer at the shelter since 1998, previously serving on the Board of Directors. She oversees adoption days and special events, as well as helping hands-on at the shelter in a variety of capacities. As a dog foster parent herself, she is currently working on growing and maintaining the shelters foster program. Alisand is an employee of Round Rock ISD. She has a degree in Rehabilitation and Education and serves as an Orientation and Mobility Specialist, whom works with Visually Impaired, Blind and Deaf Blind children and young adults, ages 0 to 22 years. Alisand has three rescue dogs and a young daughter, whom is also an active volunteer with the shelter. She enjoys reading, hiking and canoeing.
Chikage Windler is the Chief Meteorologist at CBS Austin. She forecasts the weather weeknights at 5, 6, 6:30 and 10, and is proud to be a weather geek! She is an Emmy-award winning meteorologist, a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist (CBM) in the American Meteorological Society, and holds the National Weather Association's Seal of Approval. She was named Best TV Personality by Austin Monthly Magazine in 2017 and that same year, her weathercast earned First Place from the Texas Associated Press.
When she's not forecasting the weather, Chikage is a busy mother of two girls, Austen and Zailey. She and her husband Jamie are also proud parents of Skipper, a dog they adopted from the Central Texas SPCA. Chikage is an avid runner, serving as the 2017 Austin Marathon Charity Chaser. She’s the Captain of Team CBS Austin, a group of runners who tackle everything from 5ks to marathons!
One of the questions Chikage gets most often isn't about the weather, it's about her name and heritage. Chikage is half-Japanese and her name means "thousands of views or vistas."
Jeanette Cacciola starting volunteering at CTSPCA in 2001. She's served as President, VP and Secretary during two previous board terms. Jeanette has a Master of Arts in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from St. Mary's University and is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources employed by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, The Learning Company, as a Senior Director of HR. She and her husband are long-time residents of Central Texas. At the present time, they have four rescued cats and a Ball Python. In her spare time, Jeanette is involved in community cat Trap-Neuter-Return and cares for three colonies of community cats. Her hobbies include travel and nature photography.
Central Texas SPCA Advocates
CTSPCA Advocates are individuals selected and recognized by the Board of Directors for distinguished service and/or commitment to the CTSPCA. Advocates serve in one or more areas outlined by the Board of Directors that benefit the CTSPCA by helping to raise awareness of the needs, mission and purpose of the organization. Advocates report to the Board of Directors on a regular basis but do not vote or hold an office of the CTSPCA.

Adoption Center Manager
Stacy came to our shelter with a background in business ownership and management. Her passion for our mission is what led her to us. As the Shelter Manager, she will handle the daily operations to ensure our shelter runs smoothly.
When Stacy is not working at the shelter, she enjoys spending time with her husband, gardening and enjoying her 3 grown children. Stacy has 2 fur babies; a rescue Pyrenees mix and a 7 year old Orange Tabby Cat.
