ways to donate

Monetary Gifts

The Central Texas SPCA is a non-profit, 501 (c)(3) organization supported entirely by private donations and adoption fees. Your donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law. We do not receive monies from any government agencies. Through the generosity of our supporters, we are able to keep our facility open to help the many homeless, abused, neglected and unwanted animals in our community. Your donation is greatly appreciated and truly needed!

ONLINE DONATIONS

Donations can be made using the online form on this screen and can be paid with a card, PayPal account or bank transfer.

  • ONE-TIME: Using the form on the right, you can select or enter the amount you wish to donate. Click Next to enter your contact and payment information and then the green button at the end to complete your donation. Your donation WILL make a difference in the life of a homeless pet.

  • RECURRING: Want to really make an impact on helping the shelter save more animals? Consider setting up a recurring donation. Click the Monthly or Annually option and click Next after completing each screen. You can change the amount or stop your recurring donation at any time. Recurring donations help the shelter have a steady flow of funds that can be used to meet the needs of the cats and dogs. What a great way to know the difference YOU are making!

  • HONORARY / MEMORIAL GIFT: You can make your donation as a gift in honor or memory of a special person or pet. Please include any pertinent information so that we may send an acknowledgement to the person or family for whom the donation was made. The amount will not be disclosed. The recipient will only know that you were thinking of him or her in this special way.

EMPLOYER-MATCHING

Many employers offer matching gifts programs which may match, dollar-for-dollar, the contributions that their employees make to nonprofit organizations. Check out whether your employer participates in a matching gift program and double your donation!

Sponsor a Pet to Get Them Ready for Adoption

Every animal that is adopted from the Central Texas SPCA will have been tested for heartworms (dogs) or Feline Leukemia and FIV (cats), spayed or neutered, and given all age-appropriate vaccines before they go home.  Dogs are put on heartworm prevention if they are old enough and we also microchip every pet before they leave the shelter.   The cost for these pre-adoption services makes up a significant part of our annual budget despite our using low-cost options and seeking veterinary discounts whenever possible.

You can help us save more animals by sponsoring all or a portion of an animal’s pre-adoption medical care.   Your donation goes directly to our veterinary care fund and is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.  You can even make your sponsorship donation in honor of memory of someone special and we’ll let them know.  It’s a great gift for someone who has everything they need and loves animals.
