- Senior Youth Volunteers can interact directly with our animals without parental participation to a limited extent at the shelter, but require the same parent/child team effort for off-site events like Adoption Days and various fundraising events.
- Schedules are sent via email to all volunteers at the beginning of the month detailing the availability of animal related youth opportunities either at the shelter or at off-site adoptions and events.
- We encourage senior volunteers to make a commitment of at least two hours of service per month. This helps maintain consistent and familiar care of the animals.
- Volunteer orientation attendance is required before beginning volunteer service.
