July 20th, 2009 - Karma

Leslie held a session 1 on July 20th at the Round Rock Library.  Joining Leslie and the kids at the library was 2 year old mixed breed Karma.
The kids met each other and our shelter dog Karma.  Everyone agreed it was a wonderful name.  They learned that you can get a great pet from a local shelter.  They wrote awesome recommendations for Karma.See below for the recommendations written about Karma

Karma by Aaron

Karma is a husky shepherd that is sweet, loving, and energetic. She has short hair and it has a caramel color. She doesn’t shed a lot of hair. She has black stripes on certain parts of her body, has a curly tail, and is about 65 pounds. This dog is a happy to see you, a get along type of dog.

I believe that Karma needs an owner who will play with her as much as possible. This dog is 18 months old in need of an owner that will be just a energetic, loving, playful, and willing to give her a belly rub type of person. But be careful. She LOVES to lick people…  This dog is a very friendly dog that would work good with families or just a single person.

Karma is a very trainable dog that already knows some tricks like how to shake your hand some times, Karma is also a dog that loves toys. I think that this dog needs a home A.S.A.P help this dog out.  This dog loves children, adults, and male dogs.  Karma will get along with just about anyone. Please help put this dog in a good loving home.

Karma will always be happy to see you, plus she gets along with   male dogs. She likes toys, likes to lick, is playful, friendly, and strong but gentle.  She is about 65 pounds.

One thing Karma loves is a nice belly rub every once in a while. She has a curly tail and soft fur.  She would respond to training, and she would be a good watch dog.  She will play tug-of-war with you. We would love for her to get a home in the next few days so please take a look at Karma.

Karma is 18 months of age.  She is a shepherd- husky mix.  Karma is very alert when people pass by, so she would be a great watch dog.  You can tell that she is part husky because her tail is curled just like a husky.  Since Karma is short- haired she won’t shed as much.  She has a soft brindle-color with black streaks in her fur.

Karma responds to training.   She is about 65 pounds and sometimes shakes your paw.  Karma loves to have her belly rubbed.  This dog loves to be the star of attention and needs to be.  Karma was found at a gas station so she will need lots of love.  If you want to play tug of war, you’ve found a partner.  This dog needs to live at a ranch or have a large backyard because she needs to be put to work.  A kong is a Christmas tree shaped ball that has a hole in the bottom and that’s where you put the treats or peanut butter filling that you can get at Petsmart.  You can also get the kong at Petsmart.  The kong will help Karma to not jump on you as often.  Karma would love to sleep in your bed because she wants attention.  You will LOVE Karma.  I really hope you will adopt Karma!   Karma is a husky-shepherd mix that has soft brindle fur with black streaks and black spots on her tongue!  She is very loveable and is GREAT with kids!  This dog would make a very good family dog.  She is 18 months and is about 65 pounds.  She loves to lick and is very playful.  She requires a big backyard or a wide ranch to play in!  This dog is not good in apartments unless taken out for walks everyday or the owner is can stay at home every day.  She does shed, but if you brush her daily she won’t shed as much!  She is always alert and will be waiting for you at your front door when you come home!  She loves squeaky toys and tug-of-war!  She loves hugs and being held!  She is very easy to train, and can shake hands when she wants to.  She gets along well with other dogs especially male dogs.  Karma was found at a Gas Station and therefore this dog does need a lot of attention, but if you have other dogs she will require less attention.  She will also require walks weekly.  If you want to give her a special treat, try rubbing her belly!  She is very strong but couldn’t hurt a fly.  If you are feeling depressed Karma will be there at your feet comforting you.  She never runs out of love or energy.  If Karma has to kept inside often, I would recommend LOTS of toys or a big bone to chew on.  This dog would rather sleep in your bed than a doggy bed but can adjust to a doggy bed.  I hope you will adopt Karma because she is an AMAZING dog!  I know she would love to have you as your owner! J
